We’ve been informed by Avalon Comedy that, due to illness and scheduling respectively, Nic Sampson and Kieran James Boyd are no longer able to appear at this Saturday’s Comedy Network.

Edinburgh Comedy award nominated Tom Wrigglesworth will be stepping into the headline slot and the award-winning Bilal Zafar will appear in place of Kieran James Boyd.

Lunchtime Recital: Lise Vandermissen (Italian Triple Harp)

The Lost Trades

The Lost Trades are a Folk/Americana trio with a sound that is reminiscent of the California folk scene of the late 60s/early 70s. Their three-part harmonies have been described as “flawless”, “spine tingling” and “magical”. They have graced the Official UK Folk Album Charts with both their debut album and its 2023 follow up, “Petrichor”, and have a strong reputation for a great live show.

A pre-show social, time to relax, work, meet up with friends, or grab a change of scenery with the little ones… All great ways to spend time in our café.

We are fully licensed and serve fresh, vegetarian and locally sourced food, including vegan and gluten free options.

Spaces

The Pound offers a fully equipped auditorium seating 100 people. The seating can also be put away to create a large hall space. We have full AV capabilities and with a green room and technical booth it's the ideal place for performances, talks, conferences and classes.
